"These saddle pads consist of 100% wool and feature a 6" cutback in the withers to allow for free movement of the scapula. They measure 30” x 30”x 3/4”, 30” x 30” x 1/2” with fleece, and 32” x 30x x 3/4” The wear leathers are made of 100% leather to ensure durability.
We believe wool is the superior pad material due to its absorbency and moisture wicking. Each wool fiber absorbs 35% of its weight in moisture helping it to pull the moisture away from your horse . Each fiber allows air to flow over the horses back and through the pad to offer breath ability and antibacterial properties during drying.
If you choose to use a liner (personally, I ALWAYS use a liner! Liners are cheaper to replace than pads when they get dirty!) Our liners are made of a wool blend to effectively absorb sweat. The wither is cut back and the spine is open to provide additional comfort, and our liners proudly made in the USA. I personally use a liner on all of my pads, because it’s easier and more cost effective to wash or replace a liner versus an entire pad.
Color notes: coral does not quite match our poppy boots, but it’s close Lemon lime is like a neon yellow, almost a tennis ball chartreuse, not not an exact match for our lime. Lavender orchid looks more lavender in person always looks more like a bright turquoise in person"
